Miles – 55,438 Original Miles!  AUSTIN HEALEY 100-4 BN1
DONALD HEALEY DEVELOPED HIS SPORTS CAR WITH AUSTIN MECHANICALS. THE 100 MODEL NAME CAME FROM ITS ABILITY TO TOP 100 MILES AN HOUR. THE BN-1 HAS A 2660 CC FOUR CLYNDER ENGINE. THE TRANSMISSION IS A THREE SPEED WITH OVER DRIVE IN THE TOP TWO GEARS. THE FOLD DOWN WIND SCREEN WAS A SIGNATURE OF THE 100 MODELS MAKING FOR AN AERODYNAMIC AND SLEEK LOOK.
IN 1955 AUTO ENTHUSIAST CHARLES THIERMAN MET HIS NEW CAR AT THE DOCKS AT ELIZEBETH N.J. IN THOSE DAYS THERE WAS NO DEALER NETWORK FOR MOST FOREIGN CARS, AND A CUSTOMER WAS VERY INVOLVED WITH ITS IMPORT. CHARLES USED HIS PRIZED POSSESSION SPARINGLY AS ENTHUSIASTS DO TODAY. WHEN FRED PASSED AWAY THE CAR STAYED IN THE GARAGE FOR MANY YEARS. THE CAR NEVER LEFT THE FAMILY AND AND BECAME THE POSSESSION OF FRED THIERMAM ,HIS SON. A FRAME OFF TWO YEAR COMPLETE RESTORATION WAS DONE BY NETCONG AUTO RESTORATIONS IN N.J. THIS WOULD BE A SHOW WINNER WHERE EVER IT GOES . THIS IS AN OPPORTUNITY TO INVEST IN A ONE FAMILY OWNED
APPRECIATING ASSET AND FUN.
