We are proud to represent this 3 owner MG TD. Purchased by the 3rd owner 11 years ago and then underwent a very correct frame off nut and bolt restoration. Original parts were refinished and reused where possible and period correct replacements were sourced where needed. The restoration took 6 years and the past 5 have been fine tuning to achieve perfection! The car is numbers matching with a few period correct upgrades:
- Mota Lita Wood Steering Wheel.
- Aluminum Rocker Cover.
- 1.5 inch Mark II SU Carburetors.
- Convex Instrument Gauges.
Features:
- New leather and vinyl interior from Moss.
- Stayfast convertible top and side curtains from Moss and installed by Pete Simonson – Maximillian Classics.
- Chrome work primarily by Paul’s Chrome in PA. Some pieces were done locally in NJ.
- Correct MG Ivory paint sourced from PPG is single stage urethane.
- Instrument Gauges restored by Nissonger.
- Period correct cloth wrapped wiring harness from Rhode Island Wiring.
- Front and rear springs, and other suspension parts powder coated.
- All components are coated with Eastwood Diamond Clear.
- Chassis parts were internally sprayed with Eastwood Diamond Clear.
- Breather from rocker cover to one of the pancake air filters, similar to a TF.
- Also like a TF, a Moss sourced adjustable clutch linkage rod. (Original cable with car).
- The underside of fenders are Ceramic coated.
The car won Chairman’s Choice Award at Lime Rock Sunday in the Park Concours.
